Fall Pasta Making Classes

We are excited to bring back our intimate and fun pasta making classes with Chef Sabrina Tinsley! Classes will begin with informative instruction, immersive hands-on learning and mingling with community. Once the instructional portion is complete, we'll all sit down together to enjoy our freshly made pasta along with salad, wine and dessert. Since this will be a completely interactive course, please bring your questions for discussion and troubleshooting. Chef Sabrina looks forward to sharing her pasta passion with you, as well as a few recipes and tips & tricks for success at home!

These classes make a great date night, family outing or solo experience. We've gotten rave reviews from past classes and they always sell out, so don't wait to secure your spot

Each class is $80 per person (+tax)

All classes will be held at la Spiga from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. 
Ticket price includes class, dinner and gratuity.

Cappelletti Making Class & Dinner -- SOLD OUT
In this class, you'll learn how to make cappelletti for the holidays! In Romagna, this delicious stuffed pasta, which translates to “little hats,” is traditionally cooked and served in a rich broth on Christmas or Christmas Eve. Chef Sabrina will demonstrate the technique, and then class participants will make the cappelletti that will be served for dinner. The rest of the menu includes a traditional Christmas lineup that you may want to recreate for your own family and friends during the holiday season.

Pasta Making 101 Class & Dinner
In this class, we will explore various types of long noodle pastas, including tagliatelle, tagliolini and pappardelle, as well as short versions, such as tortelli (stuffed), strozzapreti (hand rolled) and garganelli (homemade penne). In addition, we will review how to add natural color to your pasta doughs. Chef Sabrina Tinsley will demo the various types, and then you will have the hands-on opportunity to make pasta and try as many formats as time allows.

Gnocchi Making Class & Dinner 
During this class, we will explore various types of gnocchi, including classic potato gnocchi, ricotta gnocchi, butternut squash gnocchi, and spinach gnocchi. Chef Sabrina Tinsley will provide instruction and a demonstration of the technique, and then you will have the hands-on opportunity to make gnocchi and try as many types as time allows.
