Osteria La Spiga features food from the Emilia-Romagna region of Northeast Italy with an expansive list of Italian wines. Handmade pastas, fresh piadina (Italian flatbread) made fresh daily in our restaurant and simple, but flavorful dishes are the staples of our menu. Seasonal specialties rotate as fresh ingredients become available. Menus are seasonal, as we believe the best food is fresh and locally grown. Looking for a great late night spot? Serving food and drinks until midnight on Friday's and Saturday's with Italian wines and creative cocktails make La Spiga just the place to end your evening.
Italian Happy Hour: Offered Everyday From 5 - 6:30 p.m.
In Italy, aperitivo hour is an occasion unto itself. It typically starts around 6 or 7 p.m. and involves brightly colored cocktails that are neither too alcoholic nor sweet and often are slightly bitter to help stimulate the appetite. Bars present a simple-to-elaborate selection of stuzzicchini, or small bites, that can serve as a snack or a meal. Executive chef, Sabrina Tinsley, considers aperitivo hour her favorite time of day in Italy because it’s when people gather to converse. “Even if you visit friends in their homes during that hour, they will most certainly offer you an aperitivo,” she said. “It’s what Italians do and now this strong tradition is available at La Spiga.” To make a reservation call (206) 323-8881 or email hello@laspiga.com.
